Celebrating our Zebra Coalition Volunteers

National Volunteer Week – Celebrating our Zebra Coalition® Volunteers April 21 – April 27

National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate people doing extrordinary things through service. This week marks a special time of year for Zebra Coalition®, and we would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated volunteers, board members, Coalition partners and supporters. Their commitment to helping LGBT+ youth in Central Florida truly makes a difference.

One of the greatest aspects of volunteering with Zebra Coalition® is that there are so many different ways to do it. Some greet youth at our drop-in center’s front desk or assist youth in crisis on our 24 hour crisis hotline. Sometimes volunteers can only fit in one day and help serve food to youth at one of our sepcial events or clean up our landscaping. These acts all deserve to be applauded as we cannot do the work we do without their ongoing support.

As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, we will be recognizing our volunteers and highlighting ways for others to get involved with Zebra Coalition®. All week, you can join the celebration with us on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and our website as we recognize these fantastic individuals.
